This area is still largely undeveloped and therefore a natural place for artists, walkers and cyclists. The city is a maze of steep alleys and streets that lead up to the chapel of Santuari de Sant Salvador on the mountain’s top. It is worthwhile to climb up to admire the view to the east and the soft-shaped mountain range.
In Artà there is a good range of restaurants and shops, and every Tuesday there is a craft market.
