The prestigious and glamorous marina of Puerto Portals provides the perfect combination of excellent sports and entertainment. Here you can see the exhibition of cars from 20.15 on 13 March and from 18.00 on 14-15th March.
Oris Rally Clasico Isla Mallorca was founded in 2001 by the enthusiastic and experienced rally driver Toni Dezcallar and is today one of the most respected and popular rally courses in Europe. 2013 was a new record among participating vehicles, with models like a Jaguar C-Type 1963, a Porsche 356 Roadster 1960 and an Alfa Romeo SZ 1962.
A tradition in the classic motorsport is to create symbolic watches dedicated to the sport. Oris has created a unique watch inspired by the classic cars that compete in the rally. The watch is called Sa Calobra, named from the most popular route of the rally.

Cliff jumping
It sounds more like a death wish than something you can enjoy. Even if bungee jumping without a rope sounds like a bad idea, this adrenalin pumping extreme sport has grown very popular in the Balearics. You should never try cliff jumping without the correct training and support from qualified professionals. Instructors will show how to jump safely from 3 – 12 meters into the water in risk assessed locations all across the island, from Magaluf to Alcudia.
Kite surfing
Kitesurfing or kiteboarding is a fast growing water sport where you use a kite to harness the power of the wind and glide your board on the water. By moving the kite up and down through the power zone you increase or decrease your speed and steer yourself on the water. Mallorca has the perfect conditions to learn the secrets of kitesurfing. With several hundred windy days per year, long white sandy beaches and intense turquoise waters, it can’t really get any better than that.
Canyoning
Mallorca has a worldwide reputation for its famous canyons including the number 1 canyon in Europe, Sa Fosca. The scenery is truly spectacular and is an amazing location to thrill seekers who descend the canyons safely, using a variety of different techniques such as abseiling, swimming, wading and rock scrambling. Canyoning is a relatively new sport that due to the limestone rocks is found in the Tramuntana mountain range. Mallorca boasts many canyons, included Sa Fosca that is considered the number 1 in the world. The canyons have been carved out by water from the lime stone during millions of years. These narrow gorges, with beautifully sculpted walls and waterfalls provide a striking setting for this all-action activity.
Sea kayaking
Many of Mallorca’s loveliest beaches can only be reached by boat. On the north and the west coast of the island, the Tramuntana mountains fall abruptly into the sea that create dramatic coves. A sea kayak allows you to explore the rock formations, blowholes, caves and quite bays at your own speed. The adventure, beauty and the tranquility of gliding silently through extraordinarily pure waters surrounded by spectacular landscapes makes this sport extra special.
Sea caving
Cooling off from the summer sun with sea caving is a great way to enjoy the island of Mallorca. Cova de Coloms is one of the only sea caves that you can swim into in Mallorca, and to really experience the magic. After a short swim into the cave you walk deep underground, where you should have an experienced guide that can lead you through this maze like structure and underground lakes, all the way to the heart of the cave. Sea caves stalagmites are different to land types as the movement of water affects both the formation and mineral the content of the formations. You don’t need to have done caving or potholing before as these vertical cave systems are a perfect introduction to the underground world of caving. You don’t have to go under the water so no scuba equipment required.

Foreign buyers have shown great interest and demand for new projects and luxury developments in Majorca. This has had a positive effect to the property market which has, despite a fierce crisis, survived with strong numbers of sale. Foreign ownerships have doubled in the Balearic Islands in the last five years and the greatest demand is from the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia and Sweden.
There are clear figures that reflect how the Swedish and the Russian market increased in Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza over the past few years. In 2008 there were 35 Russian purchases and in 2012 the figure was 86. Only 27 properties were bought by Swedes in 2008, and the figure rose up to 168 purchases 2012. The Balearic have managed to get house prices going in the right upward direction while other markets such as Greece, Egypt and Turkey may have had to lower their prices to attract more tourists.
The company Taylor Wimpey España is a well-known company that develops new residential areas in Mallorca.
